IronPeak

About Us

Compact excavators built for real work

IronPeak exists because renting is a bad deal. A weekly rental invoice arrives whether the weather cooperated or not, whether the job took two days or five, and at the end of it you own nothing. We sell compact and mini excavators direct, at a price where owning the machine costs about what a season of rentals costs - and the machine stays in your shop afterwards.

What we sell

Two classes, chosen so that between them they cover almost every job a property owner, farm or small contractor runs into. The 1 - 2 ton compact machines trailer behind a half-ton pickup, clear a standard garden gate and still dig deep enough for drainage, footings and fence lines. The 3 - 4.5 ton heavy-duty machines have enclosed cabs with air conditioning and heat, 10 to 12 feet of digging depth and the hydraulic flow to run a breaker or an auger all day.

How we keep the price honest

We do not run a dealer network, a showroom or a rental yard. Machines are crated at the factory and shipped straight to you by LTL freight. That is why freight is free on every machine to the contiguous 48 states and why the price you see already includes it.

Engines you can actually service

Our diesel machines run Kubota and Yanmar engines - two of the most widely serviced compact diesel families in North America. Filters and parts come from ordinary suppliers, and routine maintenance is a wrench and twenty minutes rather than a dealer appointment three weeks out.

After the sale

Every machine carries a 1-year limited warranty on materials and workmanship and lifetime technical support from a U.S.-based team. Call us three years from now with a hydraulic question and you will still get a real person. You also get 30 days to return an unused, uncrated machine if it turns out not to be the right fit.
